- Here are the highlights from the big win in Philadelphia. Highly recommend this. The final play sequence and locker-room interview with Roger is awesome. Cowboys now 5-1.
00:00 - This is our first tweet for the 50th anniversary of the 1975 Dallas Cowboys time machine account idea. Follow me before I lose interest and do something else.
- 1975 - This gem shows open tryouts at Texas Stadium. Amazing video from SMU and WFAA
00:00 - NEW: I just learned that Bill Walton's brother was on the 1975 Dallas Cowboys roster. When Bill would say wild things, the local press would go ask Bruce. This was a fun read.
- Absolutely unfathomable that Harvey Martin is not in the ring of honor.
- May 25, 1975 - Cowboys are considering bringing in the "shotgun formation" that they will use against certain teams in certain situations. More news to follow!
- April 27, 1975 - Cowboys LB Lee Roy Jordan turns 34 this past week. It is claimed that he loved watching film so much that his contract included a projector for his home. Here is 1975 Topps. He will have 100 tackles this coming season.
- It is March 1st, 1975! Happy Birthday to young Thomas Henderson on his 22nd birthday. We predict this is how his future football card will look in the 1978 Topps set.
- Randy White skipped the rookie orientation on Saturday - Landry and Brandt are not happy. Brandt: "I want guys around here who want to play. I'm sick of working 17 to 18 hours a day finding guys who don't have enough pride to come. It's a shame agents have such a bad influence."
- Jan 28 - The evening after the 1st round of the 1975 Draft. FWST reports that The Cowboys went heavy on defense and took Randy White, DT/LB, from Maryland at No. 2 and then surprised w/ Tom Henderson, LB, from Langston State at No. 18. Clearly the age of LB group is a concern.
- March 7, 1975 - We wish a very happy birthday to the great Billy Joe Dupree who turns 25 today! Michigan State's own and 159 games as a Dallas Cowboy - Pro Bowl 1976, 1977, and 1978.
