- Final: Olive Branch defeats Chicago Simeon, 65-59. The Wolverines made it interesting in the final two minutes, but DJ Jeffries made clutch shots from the foul line to close it out. He finished with 19 points and was named the MVP.
- 2021 SG Kley McGowan (Cleveland) has committed to Lee University.
- 2023 PG E.J. Smith (Memphis East) has picked up an offer from Memphis.
- Shea Patterson was one of the first to talk to Luke after he was named interim head coach. Patterson's words: Let's win some football games.
- Final: Memphis Overton defeats Independence, 66-57, to win its first-ever state title. This is also the first time a Memphis program has won a Class 4A state title since the classes were expanded.
