    With that being said Free Throw is now sitting at the most monthly Spotify listeners we have ever had in our almost 13 years being a band. And that’s cool af and I am just happy that yall are down for it. I’ll go until my body doesn’t allow anymore. Thank you.

    Free Throw has the most monthly listeners we have ever had on Spotify right now. That shit is crazy lol. Over half a million. I don’t have the right words to be honest. I just don’t know how to say anything that would capture what it means to me.

    Even if it weren’t absolutely misogynistic, that Makeout song is garbage. The songwriting is lazy. To all the ppl saying it comes from a place of pain and artists pour themselves into music: I get that, but 7/11 hot dog lyrics are about as deep as a fucking puddle on a sunny day.

    I wanna say something and I don’t speak for the rest of the band, but some people need to realize that we are actually REAL people ourselves. Over the past few days people have to come to the realization that we aren’t on the El Paso date.

    Free Throw has been a band for over a decade and that is crazy to me. It’s just proof that if you believe in something it can work. Most bands I listened to and loved from the era when this band started don’t exist anymore. We were doubted, yet here we are. Still doing our shit.

    I’m not gonna lie it bums me out that sometimes people don’t actually listen to my lyrics and just assume that Free Throw is a “drinking” band because we mention alcohol. Like listen to the songs and tell me for real if you think they are promoting alcoholism. They aren’t.
