We did not think that speech by Pete Hegseth was very good.

Seeing and hearing accounts like this from all over Yangon tonight.
This is fucking unacceptable. The military is dropping of thugs in different neighborhoods to cause trouble. This was 15 mins ago in my street in Yankin. Fuck this coup and everyone involved in putting fear into people so they can rule.

Thank you to everyone in Myanmar who has been sending information about the situation on the ground there. I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to respond directly to every message. Please stay safe during the upcoming internet blackout. I hope to hear from you on the other side.

It seems to me to deserve repeating just how ordinary Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan actually is. Congressional delegations visit frequently. She’s not even the first speaker to visit. The question should be, why is Beijing determined to turn this visit into a crisis?

Indonesia siap menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan pesta olahraga terakbar di dunia, Olimpiade pada tahun 2036 mendatang. Indonesia menyiapkan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) sebagai tempatnya.

Surprised that Prabowo posted this. It does not reflect particularly well on either Prabowo or Trump.
Glad to be connected directly with President Elect @realDonaldTrump to extend my heartfelt congratulations on his election as the 47th President of the United States. I am looking forward to enhance the collaboration between our two great nations and to more productive

No G20 presidency has had to face the geopolitical challenges that Indonesia was dealt this year. Could its diplomacy have been more ambitious at times? Yes. But the summit was not boycotted, did not fall apart, produced a communiqué, and I think must be considered a success.

The omnibus bill is over 900 pages. I don’t know all that is in it. I doubt many protesters do. But they know that it was rushed through to preempt their demonstrations—just as the KPU decision was, as the KPK revision bill was. They feel democracy is slipping from their grasp.

Indonesian diplomats have not received enough credit for their work during the pandemic. As of 11 June, they have assisted in 110,505 repatriations—including 21,778 cruise ship crew from 28 countries—and distributed over 477,000 packages of essential good to Indonesians overseas.
