I recently commissioned an "artist" that uses AI in their works, but I did not realize it at the time. The artist behind this art is called TunaErozon. This is a thread detailing my experience, I hope it serves as a warning; do not be as foolish as I was. (1/8)

The comm they said they finished above? It's as you see below. I was naive to give this artist the benefit of the doubt. I believe they use AI whole hog for their art, and they do very little, if any, hand-drawing. And they charge $120 for these supposed "drawings". 7/8

Then I thought "I should ask for a .PSD file". After asking that, the artist's response got strangely aggressive. After paying $250 total for this and the previous comm, and being amicable before, suddenly becoming aggressive upon being asked to see a .PSD file is...suspect. 6/8

Now, I want to preface this by saying please do not harass this person. This person's Twitter profile specifically states "SD+PS", SD in this case being Stable Diffusion. I did not notice this and cømm'd them none the wiser, and that's on me for not noticing it. 2/8

Later, I was informed that the drawings were likely made with heavy assistance from AI. Notice the inconsistencies between Maya's necklace between both drawings. There are other subtle inconsistencies as well. I did not take notice of these inconsistencies at first. 4/8

I comm'd this artist twice. In less than 24 hours after receiving my first cømm, the artist provided another completed drawing, unprompted(so to speak). I was initially happy upon receiving the drawings, and didn't think anything of it, but it should have been a red flag. 3/8

Before I was informed of this, I had set up another cømm from this artist, and after learning about the AI, I had decided to do a chargeback. I decided to let the artist know I was doing this, giving him the benefit of the doubt that *maybe* their art isn't entirely AI. 5/8
