    I was at the funeral and this isn’t what happened and isn’t what was reported as the poster later admits, 250,000 views later. Lee came to the funeral, stood in the back and did not attend the wake. It was noted by all who were there.

    Marie Severin was always mentioned as one of the best women cartoonists instead of where she should have been: one of the best *cartoonists*. As an artist who could handle both the epic and the satirical, she was the equal of Wood. Plus has there even been a better colored page?

    A lot of people talking about the Messner-Loebs situation mention that the comics industry needs a better retirement program and organizations for creators It does. We also need UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE The two are not unrelated.

    I hope everyone who is upset that corporations don’t offer freelancers health insurance are planning to vote for one of the Dem candidates who has a plan for universal health care in 2020. We need universal health care for ALL AMERICANS not just comic book creators.

    Numerous WWE higher ups that I've spoken to in recent months have indicated to us they want nothing to do with that and are happy with the direction. I haven't heard one person there itching for a Vince return.
