Some reflections on Jinx:
The core of her character is her feeling like she only ever ends up hurting the people she loves, this is what made her "a jinx" in the first place, her guilt over killing Mylo, Clagger and Vander, then she kills Silco.
So MAPPA can get a hold of this man for JJK, but not for AoT's finale when he is THE most iconic action animator of the whole franchise, who basically defined what maneuver gear looks like?
I actually really love this ending fake-out. Izuku delivers a little speech basically about how it's ok that he had to give up on his dream as long as he can inspire others, but deep down he actually wishes he could keep being a hero, and his friends reach out & revive his dream.
This starts to improve when she meets Isha, someone who sees Jinx as her savior and guardian, and this is when Jinx starts to think she doesn't have to be "a jinx" if she can instead be a "big fat hero"
She acknowledges this explicitly in her confrontation with Smeech when she says "It's always me. Whether I'm pulling the pin or not everyone who gets close to me dies."
but then Isha also dies trying to be a "big fat hero" herself which also is inadvertently due to the influence Jinx had on her, if Isha didn't want to be like Jinx as she sees her she wouldn't have done her big heroic sacrifice.
This then leads Jinx to think that there's no way to "break the cycle", even when she tries to be something else she is a jinx at the end of the day, even when she tries to be a hero she ends up hurting the people she wants to protect
and she thinks the only way to stop the people she cares about getting hurt is to take her own life, but then even when she tries to commit suicide she still can't find a way to do it without killing Ekko at the same time (even the way she tries to kill herself becomes a "jinx").
This is a perfect example of a surface-level reader who read the series through memes thinking they're fit to talk down to people who love a character enough to make fan art of them. Power isn't just "smelly no shower girl" & she literally dresses up in the manga & official art.
people who making Power Chainsaw Man dress up in like cute sexy outfits and do all these enticing poses and shit dont understand power. she canonically stinks like shit and barely understands dressing up. she's literally the last person who would pull off a playboy bunny suit
Isayama has always been very critical of himself and his work throughout the years and I imagine being faced with so much vicious online hate must have really affected him, so to see his fans cheering and expressing their gratitude to him and bringing him to tears is so touching.
