- Candace Parker is really out here playing in her own games...raising her kid...and doing the post game show for the NBA. She’s a basket.
- If you play AAU for me, cool. If you don’t, cool. If you beat us playing in a tournament, ok. If we beat you in a tournament, ok. NONE of it matters unless you get a scholarship. That’s what it’s about! Trophies, medals, gear, sponsorships etc. NO. Getting a scholarship!!!
- I have 3 degrees including my MBA. I would never tell a doctor how to perform surgery. Yet people with little to no basketball experience try to tell coaches how to coach.
- IN-N-OUT is the most overrated food chain ever. If there weren’t 40 million people in California nobody would eat there. Basic burgers. Top 5 worst fries of all time. Nothing unique to make you go there. Trash.
- If you’ve never been dunked on or crossed you’ve either never played high level basketball or you don’t play defense.
- I’ve decided I’m going to start running FREE basketball camps. Only payment will be donations. ALL donations will be given to a senior student athlete who is in need of financial assistance for college.
- A basketball coach who genuinely cares about his players spends more time with your kids than his own. So the next time you believe you can do the job better than them, remember that comes with the job too.
- I won’t last much longer in basketball. I value relationships too much. It’s become too transactional.
- I don’t think kids love basketball as much as they used to. I have my theories on why but I’m curious to know what others think.
- Every AAU coach should have to be CPR/AED certified.
- Too many coaches want to be important in the basketball world but not important in these kids world.
- Hardest decision of my life...but the decision I have to do as a man.
- People making fun of kids offers…especially other coaches…is wild to me. It takes a lot more than ever for a high school kid to get an offer and adults come on social media mocking their offers or mocking the schools that make the offers. Please remove yourself from basketball.
