- All the talk, preseason predictions and hype are out the window tonight. It's time to take the field and find out who we are! #ISUATH
- Our team voted Matt Brown, Cal McCarthy, Cody White and Eric Brunner captains yesterday. They made excellent decisions with those four.
- After a long summer of recruiting and preparation, it was great to get back out on the field tonight. Tempo was good for first time out.
- Impressed with the resiliency of this team. We've challenged and pushed them hard and their attitude is consistent. Good to see.
- Solid first scrimmage for the team today. Saw good things on both sides of the ball and areas from improvement as well.
- 2011 Media Day is in the books ... had a great day weather wise and good to see our media in attendance. But, now its back to football.
- We wrap up the third week of practice with a closed scrimmage tomorrow ... interested to see how both sides of the ball compete.
- Heading out to practice for our first workout of the spring. Excited to get back on the field and see how the players have improved.
- An 42 yard ISU field goal puts the Redbirds on the scoreboard, with 1:27 left in the 1st quarter, 10-3 Eastern Illinois
- The media and coaches have picked us third in the Valley preseason poll and we had four players named to preseason team.
- It was great to see both sides of the ball making big plays tonight. Gets me excited to see what they can do in full pads tomorrow.
- Solid first practice at camp. I think we've added some playmakers at key positions and look forward to seeing them with pads on!
- The third place pick is nice, but it won't mean anything when we take the field Sept. 2 against UCM
