From engagement to wedding we didn’t waste much time! So glad we were able to spread some cheer during a very tough and difficult year. La Jolla CA is gorgeous! Great times this weekend with family.
9 yrs ago at 22 I packed up my truck and moved from CA to Phoenix AZ to finish my undergrad at ASU. Had never really been away from home before and was out of my comfort zone at first. Best decision I’ve made! I’ve met a lot of great people here and have a career I’m proud of!
I’m excited to announce that I am the new Head Baseball Coach at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa! I’d like to thank my former players at SMHS and the staff, admin and community for a great 3 years! I can’t wait to get to work in the summer with Jaguars Baseball! #GoJags
Jags win the 6A play in game 6-3! First post season win since 2012 at Desert Ridge. We will play Saturday. Opponent to be announced tomorrow afternoon! SP Jordan Holland was lights out. Logan Spetz comes in and shuts the door. Go Jags!
Before and after! The guys did an awesome job! A lot of people had a hand in this! Thank you! More will be added to the bullpen as the year goes on...Project #1 complete! @DRBaseball2020
Catcher Xavier Gonzalez (@Xaviervg34) was off to a great start to the 2020 season. "X" threw out multiple runners, no passed balls & also pitched 5 inn. for us (1-0, 8 K's & 0.00 era) His leadership & work ethic will greatly be missed! He will continue his career at Minot State!
We owe a lot of people thanks for all the time, effort and planning with all our renovations and upgrades on both fields these last two months! Grateful to have so many people share our vision to make @DRBaseball2020 a great place for our players, coaches, alumni and community!
The new scoreboard is up! Our old one had a good run. We’re very grateful for all those who helped make this happen for our program. Another big upgrade for our beautiful field. Go Jags! @DRBaseball2021@dridgeathletics
Didn’t go our way today, but proud of this group. Thank you to our 12 seniors who were a big part of the success the past couple years! Today was the first home postseason game Ridge has hosted in 10 years.

Devastated to learn about Jim’s passing this morning. I will forever be grateful for him giving me the opportunity to teach and coach at @dridgeathletics! Jim was an outstanding AD, leader and mentor and will be missed. Thank you Jim for always support me and our athletes.
We lost a very special person to cancer last night. Mr Jim Lavin, AD at Desert Ridge High. There was no better father, husband, brother, son, friend, educator and administrator than Jim. We will miss you, brother. Love you!
