    It has been a special day for Mathieson to conclude his 26th year of serving, mentoring and teaching kids after growing up in Eastern Washington rooting for the Hawks and going to games with his family in the Kingdome.

    I believe that a high quality HS coach, who balances teaching, training, hallway recruitment, schematic coaching, etc., is often more equipped to “coach” than many at the highest levels. Take all other roles away and give them 16+ hrs to simply coach & the results can be very +.

    Dolphins coach Brian Flores revealed to Buffalo Bills media that assistant defensive backs coach Curt Kuntz leads third down defense meetings. Kuntz spent the past eight seasons (2012-19) as the head coach of Struthers High School in Struthers, Ohio.

    2006 (same year that my senior-to-be daughter was born) was the last time that our family started a school year not wearing the blue & green, but I’m extremely grateful to be kicking off a new chapter in Camas as a counselor/athletic coordinator in 2023! #RollMakers 🔴⚫️⚪️
