- 25 years ago today my Papa Ron Shafer passed 15 days before I was born. An influential high school coach/teacher from Northeast Ohio. 2 and a half decades later I get to go to work with my Pop and carry on the Shafer Tradition everyday on and off the field #3rdGeneration
