    If you can’t be coached at the high school level how do you ever think you’ll make it in college... Just a FYI college coaches get paid a whole lot more to care less about your attitude and they have a lot more options when it comes to replacing players.

    Yes, it’s cool to say I played in front of D1 coaches but if you have 10 D2 players that doesn’t help any of them. Put your players in front of coaches at their level. It’s dogs at every level and the ultimate goal is to get a discounted education.

    I scared my little girl today because she has never sat so close to my bench. I responded to a ref in a way she doesn’t see me treat her or her mama so I had to apologize and tell her I’ll be better. Lessons not losses!

    What you can’t say is Choctaw didn’t earn their chance to play for the championship! WE believed in ourselves and had multiple opportunities to make that come true. Nobody gave us a chance! We’ll take a quick break and get back to work. A lot of first this season.

    Yes it scrimmage season but please relax. It’s a 20min running clock in most situations and us as coaches are looking at more than the final score. Do you fit in the rotation, do you know the sets, can you defend, can you make plays for others, can you do more than TAKE shots...

    I love what I do in the gym but this is the reason why I decided to not coach this summer. I’ve been blessed to help a lot of kids get a chance to play at the next level but her smile is everything to me. I’ll be back to summer ball but right now this is what I’m on. Experiences!

    Seeing someone down talk another kid who are getting attention from college coaches to try and promote their own kid has to be the saddest thing I’ve seen.

    Reality is only 7 boys in Oklahoma’s 2018 class went D1 on full rides, only 8 boys between 2019-2021 have received a D1 offer... So everybody can’t be slept on. Be realistic with your level, w/your work ethic, w/your attitude and stop comparing your process with others. 🤔
