- Proud to announce I got my first Varsity Head Coaching job with Minneapolis Washburn High School! It’s an honor to be back coaching at the school I once played for. Come support our girls this winter! #Millers
- I’ve been rebounding for a lot of pro basketball players this summer and it’s opened my eyes to what a shooter really is. If you can’t hit at least 70-75% of your wide open shots during a workout, you are not a shooter.
- The 6th seeded Washburn Millers pulled off the upset over the 3rd seeded Cooper Hawks! I am so proud of the mental toughness the boys showed down the stretch. We handled intense ball pressure all game and stuck together when times got tough! #Millers
- Someone explain to me how a cop can graduate the academy in 6 months but it takes a lawyer 8+ years of schooling to learn the law.
- MILLERS WIN! We got the job done! I couldn’t be more proud of the guys. Multiple people stepped up and made winning plays when we needed it most. Led by big fella with a monster 28 points and 17 rebounds. And as we’ve preached all year… DEFENSE WINS GAMES! 🔒#Millers
- Your Millers start off the year with a huge win over Park Center! So proud of the fight and toughness the boys showed. 20 assists and only 9 turnovers is a great recipe for success! #Millers
- The boys got the job done! First TC championship for the Millers since 2012! The mental toughness on display today was huge. We had a response for every run Central made at us. Onto sections! #Millers
- MJ has arrived!! Momma is resting after a successful C-Section.
- It’s hard for me to respect you as a trainer if you can only work with finished products (High level varsity/college/pro guys) to me the best trainers can train a bunch of 1st graders new to the game as effective as they can train high level kids.
- Fury Shepherd finishes the weekend down in Chicago 5-0 against some solid teams. Proud of the effort and attention to detail each game. Lots of fantastic basketball players on this squad but most importantly they are excellent young men. I’m lucky to coach this group! #fury
- I’d like to give a big time shout out to @kyle_j15 for winning MVP of the Minneapolis City Conference. Big fella averaged 23.5 PPG, 13.6 RPG, 3.7 Assists, 2.9 blocks and 1.5 steals. He shot 62.5% from the field on 2s, and 41.5% on 3s. Also faced constant double teams all season!
