    True Story: In 2015 we signed a kid with a 76 mph tee exit velo because every time he swung he hit the ball on the barrel. Four years later, he led the NCAA with a .458 average and was 15th Rd draft pick. Tee velos can be a useful metric, but will never tell the whole story. 🦅

    True story: I had a kid, who wasn’t playing much, come in my office and respectfully tell me I was wrong about him and he could help us win. I put him in the lineup the next day and he didn’t sit another inning the rest of his career. 🦅

    Unfortunately I didn’t get to see him make his MLB debut, but more importantly I got to see him and his family. Like I said to him when we recruited him, this isn’t a 4 year relationship. It’s a lifetime deal. Congrats Matty. I’ll be tuning in again tomorrow. #EAGLES 🦅

    2024 was the best year of my life. Bryce and Burg got to go see Zach Bryan. Bryce’s Christmas present! Niagara single-season win record. MAAC champions. NCAA regional. 2 players drafted, 1 signed as a FA Dream job. Being able to move my family to a much better

    Welp…had a recruiting service shop a kid’s offer from another school to me today. PSAs: I’m not speaking for anyone else but myself…don’t use another school’s offer to get me interested and/or get one from me. I will tell you to take theirs and wish you well.

    Some may not believe this, but Matt Brash is currently pitching for the Mariners tonight, so with Wynton Bernard’s debut there were *two* Purple Eagles playing, yes playing, in the big leagues tonight. 👊🏻🦅 #EAGLES
