- I will always have a special place for Lincoln Nebraska as I drive away today for the final time. I feel very blessed to have worn the ‘N’ as a player and coach. It meant everything to me. North Alabama is my new home. Great people and a great opportunity. #NewChapter

- From my Redshirt Year of 1993 to my last year as an undergraduate coach in 1997, Nebraska was 60-3 with 3 National Championships and one lost championship at the Buzzer in 1993. 1993 11-1 1994 13-0, 1995 12-0, 1996 11-2, and 1997 13-0... That was a dynasty.
- The foundation is laid for us. Great second half of the season. I can’t wait to get out on the road recruiting. Many lessons learned in year one. Our culture is right now thanks to the seniors. If I’m a recruit, I would want to to play at Nebraska. Motivation is very high.
