So happy for our @AustinPrepBase players, but I HAVE to take a minute to address Brenden Walsh. After 8 TDs in 2 games he ended football on a stretcher, came back to baseball & tore his UCL, played through it! College coaches, THIS KID IS A COLLEGE PLAYER. Please Call/message me!

I might be a homer here, but I will take the New England kid who rolls up to baseball practice in freezing temperatures wearing a stocking hat and winter jacket 10/10 times! Its a privilege to coach New England ballplayers. #Tough #DifferentBreed

Dear Baseball Gods, Now that we are officially at the midway point of the regular, would it be too much to ask for a 60 degree day or two, maybe a day without whipping wind, or even just some consistent sun? Any or all three would be much appreciated! @AustinPrepBase

As summer ball comes to an end, I hope parents & coaches are promoting simply being a kid to their athletes. It’s ok to take some time away from the game & just be a kid enjoying what’s left of summer. Go to the beach, go fishing, hang with friends & family. THAT’S normal!

When you get home from an hour plus roadtrip and see your senior workhorse catcher & cleanup hitter playing catch with a 6th grader as he waits for his ride, you know you are part of a special program filled with high character young men that GET IT! @AustinPrepBase #ProudCoach

So proud to be named the Austin Prep Varsity Head Coach! This has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity. I’ve been blessed to coach some of the best players and teams in the world, but this one is special! #Team1

I’m not going to pass judgement on colleges and universities canceling classes or sending students home due to Coronavirus, but I will say I feel for our alums currently in school. I feel even worse for our active collegiate student-athletes, especially freshman! Thinking of you!

Little man has practice at 11am, at 7:30, he was in full uniform, arm sleeve on, shades on top of his hat, batting gloves on, bat bag leaning against the front door. Players & coaches need to invest in how they instill that boyhood excitement as far into their career as possible.

This morning I saw one of our @AustinPrepBase guys stop his workout to say good morning to a facilities worker. That same worker then dropped a large object & the player immediately went over & picked up the object. Spoiler alert- he’s a D1 commit. Coincidence? Nope! #Character

Had the chance to watch Chelmsford game today. As I sat in the stands I was surrounded by countless Chelmsford Little Leaguers supporting the varsity team. Really great community feel that I have always felt is great about public school baseball. Well done @Coach_DiStasi
