- HS football players: Who you are off the field is who you are on the field. If you can’t attend class, be on time, do assignments prior to the due date, how can you expect a coach to depend on you in critical situations in a game?Consistency is a habit as is inconsistency

- I am saddened & upset that a colleague and lifelong friend could be treated the way Coach Mac has been treated
- If I send you a personal invite to our football meeting for a NW alumnus who is a high ranking military officer & you blow me off. You’re telling me all I need to know. No response & not showing up is unacceptable. If you can’t handle 3 hrs a week in meetings good luck in college
- 20 years ago today we became partners in crime. I’d be lost without you. Here’s to the next 20! 🥂

- To the young guys starting football practice today. A few things not to ask your coach: • Did you assign numbers yet? • Is practice mandatory? • Can I wear a tinted visor? • Can I get smaller shoulder pads? • Do we have to wear knee pads? • Can I get another mouthpiece?
