    I TRULY love what I do! @rhettlashlee allows me to be my authentic self & celebrates it. This profession is full of egos & insecurities, he has neither. I LOVE this University & this city & we never stop working to give both the football team they deserve! SMU & Dallas 4Life!

    Don’t tell me about what can’t be done… 14 yrs. ago my son was born with cerebral palsy & we were told he’d spend his life in a wheel chair. Today, he ran his second cross country race of his life 17:09 2mile. Those Dr’s didn’t know our God or our family. Impossible is NOTHING!

    I got to SMU 8 years ago. The stadium was almost empty. From day 1 I said we will win a National Championship. Every day since then I’ve led with that goal. Most folks laughed at me. @rhettlashlee NEVER DID. Now the stadium is full & I stand by what I said 8 years ago!

    EVERY High School football player in America wants to come to SMU! Some of them just don’t know it yet because I haven’t had a chance to talk to all of them. Give me a little bit of time….

    12 years ago doctors told me my son would never walk independently & live his life in a wheelchair. Today, he and I hiked six miles through the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. PLEASE tell me what else impossible! It’s the best motivator in the world. #PonyUpDallas🔴🔵

    We had our SMU football banquet tonight and the way @rhettlashlee went through our roster and spoke in depth about EVERY senior was something to behold. Our culture isn’t a coincidence, it’s sincere and honest. It is why we win! So proud to be Mustang!

    The Transfer Portal opens tomorrow. There’re boys from DFW playing football all over this nation & watching what’s going on at SMU. Just so you all know, it’s even more fun than the videos show. No hard feelings, HOME is always HOME. We’ll leave the light on for you.

    Moments after this picture was taken I was arrested by South Carolina State troopers. Because if you zoom in on the picture, it’s obvious that I brought two GUNZ to the game! LOL! 😂 Hey I’m 53 years old and I haven’t lifted arms in a decade. I’ll take it! Winning is FUN!
