- Speaking from experience, going to a good D2 is better than going to a D1 that loses 15-20 games a year.
- AAU Tip of the day: When you play in front of college coaches, do the moves you work on the most. If you don’t work on specific moves, don’t do them in the game.

- AAU Tip of the Day: Stop the fake toughness. You’re not going to fight. Understand that basketball is a physical sport. If you don’t wanna get touched, play poker.
- If you’re thinking about starting a coaching career, my advice is: Don’t worry where you’re starting, Just start it.
- My advice to any aspiring coaches: Don’t get in this profession for money or credit/recognition. It’ll be awhile before you get either. Help the kids as much as you possibly can, then you’ll have your chance at both!
- If Ferris State gets a Chic Fil A, enrollment will skyrocket.
