The unfortunate part of coaching is you spend countless hours with players and it’s always the 2 minute Gameday conversation that gets scrutinized. I commend this young man for his eye contact and discipline in the situation. Thank you for your passion Coach Cristobal. Go Ducks

When young guys say they want to be coordinators. Earn your stripes, being the Head Coach isn’t always so lavishing. Paint lines then we’ll talk X’s and O’s. #playfast

Here’s another lesson I’ve learned the hard way. Take commitment over numbers. Everybody wants 45-55 man squads and it’s great to say we have 140 in our program. Give me 30 kids that buy in and show up everyday and you will be much happier. Coach who wants to be there with you.

Remember when this was the reason you played? What a great quote from a legendary player.

I think all young players should watch how Pro’s do drills. It’s not 11 on 11 for 2 hours straight, even the best work technically and fundamentally to improve. Sled work is a privilege not a punishment.
There’s two types of people: Those who love this sound and those who get triggered by this sound 🤣😂

100 Wins. Thanks to all the players that have played for me, administrations that hired me, and coaches that worked with me. It’s been a good ride. #SwordsUp

Diagonal mow on the Game Field this morning. Head Coaches wear a lot of hats, the play calling one is the least worn. Remember that young bucks. #swordsup #playfast

Stole this from a friend. I’ve never read something so true in today’s generation. It’s so easy to pass blame today. We need accountability

This is a huge obstacle in HS Coaching. Kids don’t realize how much they are really capable of and how little they are actually accomplishing. Comes down to the defense mechanism to want to deny blame and not accept responsibility.
Nick Saban said something today that is life changing to me. He used the term “CAPABILITY GAP” What are you capable of and but what are you actually doing? SO GOOD ⁦@AlabamaFTBL

Let me clarify. I want to host a Football Coaching Clinic in St Augustine right on the beach. The clinic will be open to football coaches across the country. Friday and Saturday with topics on Offense, Defense, Special Teams, Program Building, and Strength and Conditioning

Wake Forest, Troy, and Western Kentucky here last two days. Over 1 million HS Football Players in the country. Why should they recruit you? “I ball dog” is not a reason. Grades, Test Score, Work Ethic, Weight Room Numbers. Separate from the pack, they owe you nothing

I see a lot of talk about 5 star throwing to 5 star, or handing it to 5 star behind 5 star lineman. Am I in the minority thinking Sark’s gameplan and play calling was an absolute thing of beauty? Ohio State has some guys with “Stars” also. Almost all with throws HS kids can make
