- My heart broke last night telling these faces, these athletes, these women that everything they’ve been working for could just be over. I know this is the right decision and I understand it but it still hurts. These hearts deserve more time!
- Every softball coach has a collection of balls in their car right? 🥎 Can’t be just me…? 😬 Found a game ball (like gold), some of practice defense/hitting balls, and tennis balls (outies know they are my favorite)

- Recruiting is one of my favorite aspects of collegiate coaching. Yes, it’s full of late nights, early mornings, days when you’re at the field for 10+ hrs, many many miles driving but getting to see sunsets/sunrises and see/talk with amazing talent and people makes it all worth it
- I decided that Aspen needed a house, so I bought her one! Nothing like closing on a house to start the softball season off. Huge thank you to Anne (my realtor) for helping me find the perfect house!
