- Out of surgery and did great! Doc said his cerebellum extended down past C2 but they were able to get everything in place. Said the cerebellum was whitish because it was getting cut off from some blood flow; it doesn’t really serve a purpose so we are in a much better place!
- FANS: Just remember this is the WORST time of year for many coaches. The carousel of coaching is gonna be in high gear soon. We aren’t talking about jobs. We are talking about families moving, new schools, friends, etc. Remeber that next time you call for someone to get fired.
- GRATITUDE 🧵 When I posted 6 weeks ago about Mac’s Chiari 1 surgery, I immediately got a phone call from @Coach_BMiller For the first time in a long time, we didn’t discuss football, our President’s Day graphics, or recruiting. We discussed LIFE… 1/
- We get to go home, dad! No seizure activity detected 😁 Next MRI is scheduled for 3/17 to determine spinal fluid build up. Words will never be able to express how much the calls/texts/emails/prayers have meant to me and my family. Not out of the woods, but a big piece solved

- When you are having a rough morning, and your son can sense that… Mac grabs my hand and smiles before they wheeled him back for surgery… He is stronger than his old man, that’s for sure!
