- About half of our team is from a Harvey-affected area. We have some players and families that are hurting right now. Prayers, please.
- Tonight's 50-3 win was the definition of a team victory. No one person's stats were gaudy, but defense, offense and special teams all fed into each other. Proud of our team. #2-0

- Excellent team game today. Took a little bit of everything, and everyone, to beat TLU 51-33 on the road. Great 1st season in the ASC. No one (but us) thought we would be a top 3 team in the SEC of Division III.
- .@supiratesfb is now 1-0 in the ASC and 2-0 overall. Defense held McMurry to just over 200 yards and 6 points while the offense put up 551 yards and 37 points without three all-ASC players. Work to be done before we play again next Saturday, but many good things to build on.
- It has been a privilege to be the only football coach to ever work under @GladaMunt. Today it was an honor to present her with an official game jersey upon the event of her final home football game as Assoc. VP & Dir. Of Athletics. We will miss you!

- Sounds like our players have decided that a "share" of the conference championship isn't enough. They seem to be motivated for next week.
- At 0830 @SUPiratesFB begins its annual training with 1st Army Division West on the Leader Reaction Course at Ft. Hood.
- .@SUPiratesFB goes 4-1 in the second half of the season. Only loss was a close one to the #5 team in the nation. Well done, men!
