- Packing for day one and as excited as I’ve ever been. Proud to be a coach. Proud to be in the profession my Dad was in. He gave me this fungo before I started as a volunteer at Sharyland HS in 2002. Never gone through a season without it. Thanks Dad. Thanks for the bat too.
- Got back from our game yesterday afternoon and ran out to watch my son. Didn’t get there in time to see this but pretty cool when post game he wants to know how our guys did. Even more cool when our guys walk in today and want to know how he did last nite. Proud of him…and them.
00:00 - Want to win??? Better have great young men and assistants. @ColtHermes has a newborn, is a husband, teaches, and coaches football. He uses his conference period to set up for our athletic period and uses about 90% of his lunch to clean up/meet with me about players/practices.
- I’ve been to our field thousands of times where no one has been here. But as I stood at our building today and looked out, it has never looked as lonely as it does right now. There are just no words for the past couple days.
- Rest In Peace to our Mule super fan. You’ll always have a seat at the Mule Yard.
- Unbelievably excited to introduce my son Teel. Born yesterday, he and @coachmmulkey are doing well. Hoping to get home tomorrow… Batting practice starts next week
- We tell our guys all the time we trust them to make decisions. 2016 Regional Quarter-Finals against one of the best teams in the Country. The single greatest high school baseball play I have ever witnessed...

- Really proud of our guys and coaches… 40 minutes, 13 hitters with three 5 pitch AB’s, 12 pitchers throwing 15-20 pitches each. Every pitch tracked. Every hitter’s swing decisions and execution tracked. Solid day for @Brennan_Bsb

- Dad got me this fungo before I started as a volly/student teacher 24 years ago. The chip is from a tantrum at practice in ‘07. It’s seen seasons where winning was hard. It’s been there when we played for a ring… Tough to explain how much it means. But the game knows. Thanks Dad
