The umpire’s name is Matt! An incredible young man who our 8U team has come to enjoy! He’s umpired all of our games this year, knows every boy by name, talks to them between games, encourages them during game. AND handles adverse situations very professionally! @Bullpenevents

- This isn’t a great pic but it shows the number. I picked #34 to put in display case because that was my Dad’s number when he coach me and when he coached a travel team with me in 2002. Love you, Pops!
- Very emotional after game...thinking of how hard our current players & coaches have worked...thinking of all former players & coaches & what they did to build Tiger Baseball...but even more so thinking of this group & all they’ve sacrificed so I can coach these awesome guys!
- It is a blessing & honor to coach this group of young men! The success on the field is a result of guys learning to overcome adversity, love one another, and compete for the guys next to them! Special group of you men! Honored to coach them!
- After committing her life to Jesus in college, Sara decided to declare her faith through Baptism tonight! Awesome privilege to be a part of it!
00:00 - Wise coaching advice from 7-year old daughter last night: Me: Soph, what do you want to pray for? Sophie: That your boys would learn to give their best effort & have fun. Sometimes they worry about winning & losing too much. They just need to give their best effort & have fun.
- When I became head coach 16 yrs ago, Sara committed to this w/me…that it would be ministry for us & way to invest in lives of next generation! Sara did more behind scenes today then I can fully process: checked in campers, handed out shirts, tracked down pizza! She’s a rockstar!
- Me tonight: “Soph, what do you want to pray for tonight?” Sophie without hesitation: “that the senior baseball boys make it through college safely.”
- So, Today?!?!? Stressed, worried, nervous, anxious...then God showed up like He always does. Watched my dad be wheeled off for pacemaker w/ HR of 24 (not knowing what would happen) & then spent day w/ my 2 sisters, mom & dad when he returned. All is good! Great day w/ my family!
- I’m so proud of my 11-year old son Henry! On his own he organized & put together packages for homeless. Spent his own birthday money. Wrote an unbelievable note of encouragement (below). Please join us in praying for 3 people who will receive these kits tomorrow in downtown Indy.
- I’m a sinner saved by grace...washed by the blood of Jesus. I have made and make many mistakes but Jesus has brought me to this place at this moment in time. He deserves all the Glory, all the Honor, and all the credit! LOVE WINS!!!
