If you don’t sit in the seats, do the work, and learn from the teachers, you shouldn’t wear the jersey. Doesn’t matter if it’s charter, homeschool, or a loophole school—representation is earned through participation. Our Marauders earn that right every single day. 🏈

The best high school football is played in the state of Florida.

Serious question…are there actually high school football programs out there that have kids that don’t show up for summer training and still expect to play? Our attendance has been 85-90% every year and it’s not even talked about.

Let me restate and elaborate. The best high school football is played in Florida. Give our coaches the resources, facilities and pay that is given in Georgia and Texas and the margin would be even greater. We do more with less because our players are just that much better.

It’s great to be a Miami Hurricane. It’s all about the “U”

Unpopular opinion: these post game brawls are a product of the culture that is created in college football currently. Accountability is missing from the game.

It’s Great to be a Miami Hurricane. I grew up in the hills of West Virginia but became a man around these brothers. Being a part of something that special and being able to relive it every time we’re together is something I seriously cherish. 20 years ago feels like yesterday.

Questions I’m asked by college coaches on the regular and usually in this order: 1. How are his grades? 2. How is he in the weight room? 3. What other sports does he play? 4. What kind of teammate is he? 5. Is he coachable? Lets focus on these instead of just collecting offers!

Huge thanks to the @IHSFCA1 and @IlliniFootball for an incredible clinic! Special shoutout to @BretBielema for sharing his wisdom. Excited to see @JershaunN follow in @Johnny5Newton footsteps. More Marauders at Illinois in the future!

The @FHSAA Football State Championships should look into @ExploriaStadium or @UCF_Football Bounce House to play the games moving forward. @FAMU_FB did a great job but a centralized location should be the goal. (Other than locker rooms). Thoughts? @FlaHSFootball

No knock on Derwin James. Congrats on being drafted in the 1st round...but for the last time please stop with these Sean Taylor comparisons!! Not even close!! There’s only one ST26. Nuff said!!

Two of the top teams in the country played in Clearwater this past weekend and the media coverage for the game was close to nothing. When I came to Tampa 10 years ago it was nothing to see many media outlets showcasing our youth. Our kids deserve better. It needs to be better.

I may catch heat for this, but I feel strongly: FHSAA is a voluntary org with clear rules TFA violated, appealed, lost, and accepted-a last-minute lawsuit & injunction upended the process. Now our region’s at a standstill and IRC may lose out. I hope not. Dangerous precedent.
