That little college you’ve never heard of most likely has some dudes who throw 88-92, can run, have guys with juice , & a ton of guys who r flat out competitors. Good luck thinking you’re going 2 walk in & be handed a starting spot. College baseball is really good at all levels.- I don’t care what Twitter says - runner on 3rd less than 2 outs- a hard ground ball to second base is a quality at bat.
- If you survived college baseball conditioning in these bricks than you can do anything.
- That little college you’ve never heard of most likely has guys who are 88-92, guys who can run, guys who leave the yard, and players that are PHYSICAL. You better be prepared to come into college baseball and fight for playing time.
- I want guys In my program who show the same amount of respect to the janitor, cafeteria worker, bus driver as they do the President, professor, athletic director.
- Don’t call me this week….. unless you have an arm 88-93 with a wipe out slider lol.
- There’s more to life than baseball but, baseball sure does teach you a lot about life. ⚾️
- Just because a coach doesn’t play a kid as often or at all doesn’t mean we don’t care about that kid. We are putting the best 9 players on the field to try to win. Some of my favorite kids I’ve ever coached barely saw the field.
- Parents- please stop contacting college coaches for your child. If your child can’t take 5 minutes to write an email how can we possibly think they can handle class, weight room, or practice ? Throws up nothing but red flags.
- I wanted to let everyone know that I have accepted the offer to be the next Head Baseball Coach at NCAA D2 Bluefield State College. I will always cherish Concord University and the impact it’s had on my career. #GoBigBlue
- We are a HBCU state funded Division 2 in WV on the VA/WV line. We are an affordable liberal arts institution that competes at the NCAA D2 level. You don’t have to go in debt 80k to play Division 2 baseball.
- Incoming Freshman- get at bats against college arms / hitters the summer before you enter college. Lift 4-5 days a week and make sure you’re getting your sprint work in. Show up ready to take someone’s job.
