- An awesome event just went down,30 car parade ( if you count the poor mailman ) of cars and trucks honking horns with 🎈& signs showing ❤️ for my @BethTHarris for completing radiation this week ! Proud of her bravery through this and blessed beyond words for this event
00:00 - Today I told my guys I would be retiring from @LexHSBasketball at the end of the season. One of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Lots of prayers and discussions with family and coaching friends. This team has made it the last ride of a lifetime , let’s finish this !
- Tough one. Would not have wanted to go to battle with anyone other than these 14 guys , proud of everyone of them ! It’s been an honor to cover him for the past 29 years. With @LexHSBasketball 47-42 loss to @BerkeleyStags in 5A Lower State championship, Harris is stepping away after 32 years.

The 2010 epic playoff game OT victory with Shaq Roland scoring 34 against Bruce Ellington with 33 in one of the most entertaining games I’ve ever been involved . - My family ( team) picked me up after a tough72 hours of emergency surgeries on my Mom . Thank you @LexHSBasketball 🏀for being there for me!
- 41 years ago I was the 10 th grader at the basketball banquet with @reidballclub as my coach. The last 16 years he has been the best assistant and friend I could ask for. Thanks Coach! @jayreid7 @LexHSBasketball @LHS_WILDCATS
- Things I’ve observed in my 3 years off of the 🏀bench: 1-Coaching is Difficult, lots of issues to negotiate! 2-Coaches wives have a special place in heaven for supporting their husband and not choking some fans . 3-Lots of Clueless people in the stands , thus reinforcing #1-2😂
- What a week....a new puppy, first grand baby and @BethTHarris started chemo in her fight v cancer. I’m reminded of one of my favorite verses in Romans 8:28 “All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord...” Thanks for all prayers and support, God is good.
- Kobe’s team did this Dec 95 when we played them and I told their coach we were stealing that move. Won next 28 games and haven’t stopped sliding , good enough for Kobe , good enough for me 🏀@LexingtonWBB do their pregame ritual of sliding across the gym floor. According to @CoachBHarris, the team adopted it from watching the Lower Merion High School team led by Kobe Bryant do the same at the 1995 Beachball Classic.
