HS players: If you want to play in college, you must learn how to play off of the bench. Not starting is no excuse to not be mentally ready to play. If you don’t learn this until college, it’ll make the adjustment even harder. Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.- Today, a female coach was denied entry to @NCCoachesAssn clinic because she brought her 4 month old nursing baby in a stroller. What an example @HaleyHackett is for young girls that you can be a rockstar mom & excel in your career. Big miss for the NCCA.
- Forever thankful for the opportunity to be the head coach of @WF_WBB. We’ve won some 🏆🏆🏆 but the relationships with my girls outweigh them all. Next chapter up: Focusing on being a mom...and teaching Sophia to dribble & shoot ASAP.
- Officially done at West Forsyth. So many thoughts & emotions but more than anything, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be a Titan & all of the memories and relationships that came with it. Glad I got to be a part of the Village. 💚

- I wanted to quit 🏀 in 3rd grade bc my team didn’t win a game. My dad wouldn’t let me. 4 years ago, he told me I should apply to coach at West Forsyth. It wasn’t open then but 2 weeks later, it was & I got a phone call. Dad always knows best. #HappyFathersDay #thankful
- At team camp before @CallieScheier ‘s JR year, she cried to me b/c she didn’t think she’d get to live her dream of playing D1 despite all of her hard work b/c people questioned her size. Wish I could’ve shown her this picture. Keep proving them wrong & living your dream, Cal!
- 💚 that the kid who made ESPN for breaking records is also the kid who: 1. Has gotten 1500+ extra shots/week since she was a freshman 2. Was never covered by 1 “recruiting service” 3. Was told 100 times she was too small & never would play D1 HEART > Hype @CallieScheierNot every day your high school 🏀team is on @espn ! Thanks for the shoutout @SportsCenter ! Love seeing our team on TV & reliving @CallieScheier breaking records! 👌🏆
00:00 - Entitlement is at an all time high in team sports today & people wonder why so many people are getting out of coaching/sports writing 🤦🏻♀️ Everybody doesn’t get a trophy for just showing up. Go to work & earn it every day.
