It’s not always about talent, sometimes it’s about who you can trust.

Just heard a high school coach have the quote of the day. There’s a difference between Interest and Investment. If you’re invested in this program, you will be a good teammate every opportunity you get. If you’re just interested, you will just be a good teammate on the good days.

Asking for a friend. Watching the WVU-Iowa game. Are the rules the same for both teams?

The head coach-player relationship is huge. 1. Make sure it’s a head coach that always has your back. 2. Make sure that you’re important as a person first. 3. Make sure the relationship goes beyond your playing years. 4. Make sure they share the same passion to win as you.

A coach's favorite player(s) is the player(s) that are reliable. They work hard, have a positive attitude, put in extra effort, always are coachable, and all about the elevation of the team. They will take on whatever role to help the team succeed. They are the glue!

Recruits: as you’re playing really be conscious of these 5 noticeable winning characteristics: 1. Great work ethic (no plays off) 2. Coachable (eye contact) 3. Unselfish (help others shine) 4. Ability to execute (game iq) 5. Is accountable (owns mistakes)

The best coaches do much more than just skill development and call plays. They love and care for you unconditionally allday everyday. It’s not a 4-year commitment, but a lifelong one. When the ball stops bouncing, the lifelong relationships carry on.

𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... There is no standards 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... COACHES remind the team of the standards 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... LEADERS remind the team of the standards 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... EVERYONE in the program actions display the standards

RECRUITS: Find a coach that BELIEVES in you. A campus that feels like HOME. A program that feels like FAMILY. Thats your place!
