I see Alliance is unionist today. I think we were nationalist yesterday, or the day before.
Here’s some news for everyone.
We’re neither. We’re both. We’re other. We’re diverse. We’re us. We’re them. We’re me. We’re you. We’re everyone.
We’re growing.

- Gregory Campbell is a disgrace. He always has been. His words hurt people and marginalise. But, at least we can be thankful we don’t live in his small minded world. Keep going forward and we’ll leave people like that behind.
- At what point is it negligence to provide such poor infrastructure and allow it to become so hazardous to use?
00:00 - Instead of the #WeDeserveBetter thing can we have a day called #YouGetWhatYouVoteFor where we all sit around and reflect on the fact that we had the power to fix the mess once in 2016 and twice in 2017 but instead we went out and voted for the very problem in bigger numbers?
- Don't be fooled by Ian Paisley Jnr's crocodile tears. He has had plenty of opportunities before this point to express his regret but instead has 'decried' the reports of wrongdoing and threatened legal action where possible. The leopard has shown his spots
- I don’t know. Have you ever actually seen someone quit their job & leave with a box? Something too picture perfect with that.
- I wouldn’t have returned to NI after university if it wasn’t for the Good Friday Agreement. I’m thankful for those who paved the way for a better future. It’s now up to my generation to make sure we take the next big steps to build lasting peace and prosperity for everyone.
- I have to be honest, seeing the Fianna Fáil Twitter feed popping up on Northern issues is brining me no joy at all. It’s just filled with negative attack stuff on issues they had no interest in 3 weeks ago. We have enough of that crap here already, thanks.
- Today was billed to be one of the most uncomfortable days for the DUP during the RHI investigations. Today, the DUPs sister party in government decided it was the right day for a major statement on devolution, dominating the news agenda. 🤔
- The comments under this are pretty depressing. Lots of men telling Nuala how to balance 2 young kids & 2 jobs. I see it first hand. Nu is like a superwoman. I don’t know how she does it. Regardless of what the trolls think, I’m incredibly proud of her. What this story doesn’t outline is the particular difficulties in being a young mother, on maternity in a particularly difficult political climate.
- My parents hold a deep religious faith & they know Nuala displays more of what they see as Christian values than those set on attacking her.Why Lord Mayor's lack of grace at City Hall gives Alliance Party food for thought belfasttelegraph.co.uk/opinion/column…
- My take on the DUP leadership. I actually think Edwin is probably the most capable of pulling a divided party all in the one direction. I don’t think it will be in the right direction.
- We’ve created a monster in our house. Tonight the 5 year old resisted bedtime by ‘canvassing’ (his words) everyone in the house to stay up late, then he & his 3 year old brother held an unofficial vote on the matter 🗳🤷♂️🤦♂️ #BedTimeIsNotADemocraticDecision
