What an incredible honour. Thrilled to help lead such a talented and dedicated team at the Herald Sun, covering the game we love. Massive thanks to everyone for their well wishes and support over the journey. See you at the footy. ๐Ÿ™

Unreal story the Hawks. Bold coaching change. Found Newcombe for free. Traded up for Weddle. Took the firecracker forwards. Play on instinct. Be themselves. Fast-tracked rebuild. Sam Mitchell take a bow.

If Perth can fill the house and get 60k into Optus it has to be a WA Grand Final. Schedule some earlier finals in QLD but then play the premiership decider in the west at the second best stadium in the country. Twilight AWST would be brilliant. Surely?!

Dylan Roberton in tears in the Saints rooms after the match. Looked shattered to be missing out with his heart problem. Teammates made a big effort to get around him. Very emotional scenes @triplemfooty @theheraldsun

The hardened Collingwood backman with the softer side. Brayden Maynard, who is a favourite at a local specialist school, has a massive heart. So pleased for his All-Australian recognition โฆ@brayden_maynardโฉ ๐Ÿ‘ heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teamโ€ฆ
