City of Redlands staff, in partnership with the Family Service Association of Redlands, distributed meal bags to 50 seniors yesterday. Each meal bag contained 5 frozen meals, milk, bread and fruit. For more info call (909) 798-7579.

There is NO CURFEW in the City of Redlands. The Police Department will continue to provide increased nighttime patrols to ensure the safety of people and property. Residents are encouraged to report crime and suspicious activity immediately to police.

The City is converting 4,500 streetlights from high pressure sodium (HPS) to light emitting diode (LED) fixtures beginning this month. The project will save the City over 1,600,000 kilowatt hours and approximately $450,000 in energy costs in the first year after implementation.

It may be raining, but your City of Redlands crews are hard at work. Unfortunately, today's storm uprooted a 100+-year-old Live Oak near Cajon St. and Olive Ave. City's Streets crew quickly set up traffic control, and City's Trees crew cleaned up the fallen tree.
