    This morning, the City placed a new “Compassion Corner” sign at 3rd and C Street. The City worked with David’s sister, Maria, to design and place the sign. If you have some time, stop by and check out it out.

    The @YoloCountyCA's test kit vending machine is now in Davis! Located outside the Davis Branch Library, near the main doors, the vending machine is FREE for residents. Residents should take only what they need to ensure tests are available for everyone. cityofdavis.org/coronavirus.

    The grand opening of Paul's Place was today! The City of Davis invested $1 million into this project so that those who are experiencing homelessness in our community have a chance at hope and a home. Thanks to Davis Community Meals and Housing for their dedication and service!

    The city currently has many traffic lights without power. If you come upon an intersection with a non-functioning traffic light, you must treat it as a 4-way stop. Always stop at a darkened intersection. Please drive with caution during this time of high winds and power outages.

    CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO DOWNED POWER LINES: Pole Line from Cowell to 5th Street and on 2nd Street from L Street to Cantrill. Likely closed until Monday, January 9 or later. For the 2nd Street closure there is NO ACCESS, even for business owners due to the dangerous situation.
