    Thoughts are with the family of one of our own😥 Off duty, went to the assistance of a member of public being robbed of his #Moped. Outnumbered he showed extreme bravery; but was stabbed. The officer is stable & in good hands thanks to @MPSLewisham #OpVenice #KnifeCrime

    On Friday 11th January, PCs Morgan, Halvey & Little, successfully resuscitated a man in cardiac arrest. They administered CPR alongside @Ldn_Ambulance for over 10 minutes and a defibrillator was used. We are pleased to say the patient is being discharged from hospital tomorrow.

    Had to pedal hard to catch up with this rider. He commuted a few offences and this illegal cycle was seized. A pedal cycle is exactly that. If you don’t need to cycle and it goes up to 43 mph it is dangerous and should not be on our roads. PS10.

    "Shouldn't you be out catching murderers?" is a common line that Roads Policing Officers hear. Well last week during a routine vehicle stop by #CityRPU for no insurance the driver was shown as wanted for kidnap & murder. Arrested by #CityRPU & charged by @metpoliceuk 281/214

    This car was stopped by #CityRPU. Driver was disqualified from driving X 3, and insurance invalidated. Vehicle seized, driver arrested for all offences and put before the court this morning. @DriveInsured 871/887

    Public order trained officers have been policing the G7 Summit in Cornwall this weekend on mutual aid. Despite long shifts and some hot weather they found time for a unit photo on the seafront in Marazion. ^142CP #G7Summit2021

    Cycle Team were at Bank Junction this morning when PC 612 spotted this homemade monster of an illegal e-bike. Video shows top speed of 73mph with no pedalling, and it has an almost 2000 watt motor (legal limits are 15.5mph & 250w). We seized it. PS10 FORD

    Today #CycleTeam have sent 17 illegal e-vehicles, including illegally modified e-bikes, e-scooters & a e-skateboard, to the pound! One of which had been involved in a collision. These vehicles are dangerous not only to the rider but other road users as well. APS185.

    Seized this monster of a e-scooter today as on road illegally. Also 2 persons riding on it. See video for top MPH then take into account you need no licence or training to ride this and they are illegal to ride on road! PS10 Ford

    This food delivery rider had his bike seized for not having insurance on Tuesday as it had been adapted to not apply with the law. He was invited to the station for Cycle Team to explain what he should have. He showed up today proudly showing his new legal EAPC! 🚲😊PS10 Ford
