The behavior on virulent display in Brentwood on Thanksgiving Day and continuing in the City today is unacceptable. Physically harming or criminally threatening another person, trespass, and vandalism, are not protected speech and should be prosecuted.

- The City of L.A. COVID-19 eviction protections for nonpayment of rent have expired. Starting today, renters must pay their full current monthly rent to avoid eviction for non-payment of rent.
00:00 - I joined Mayor Karen Bass today to announce that the City is taking action to preserve and rehabilitate nearly 2,000 units of permanent supportive housing owned by the Skid Row Housing Trust. This will keep 1,500 people housed and enable hundreds more to move off the streets.
