    We’re asking all MPs to vote against the UCPIP Bill today. The government’s own impact assessment says the cuts will plunge 150,000 people into poverty by the end of this Parliament. This is likely an underestimate and says nothing of the people already in poverty who will sink

    Last night Citizens Advice Sunderland's office was badly damaged following riots in the city. We're working with the team in Sunderland to provide support to them and help them be there for the people who need advice going forward. Our services are closed on weekends (1/2)

    The Energy Price Guarantee limits the amount energy suppliers can charge per kilowatt of gas or electricity. The average energy bill shouldn't be more than £2,500 per year but your bill will be determined by how much energy you use. Your bill could be more than £2,500.

    1/3 We've helped 150,000 people with Universal Credit and have seen what can happen when people struggle to make a claim and their payments are delayed. Today the DWP announced that from April 2019 they'll fund us to provide support to people claiming Universal Credit
