- Happy to report that my post-chemo CT scans came back clean as a whistle. Healing well with no sign of cancer returning. Oncologist is super pleased with the results. Iโm already eating better and ready to start rebuilding my body. Thank you all for the love and support โ๐ผ
- Home free! Cancer surgery lasted 9 hours, hospitalized for 8 days. Grueling, but growing ๐ช๐ผevery hour. Hearty thank you for all the support.
- Never thought Iโd be happy to revisit the chemo ward, but here I am. Doc assured me pain relief in a few days thanks to chemo, targeted therapy and a bone-strengthening drug. Thank you for all of the thoughtful messages over the past week. Already feel stronger for the fight ๐๐ผ

- An update on my recovery from esophageal cancer: I went searching for answers during chemo today because my treatment ends in 2 weeks and I am down to 142 pounds, the lowest point yet. The news is a little sobering but could be worse
- Thanks, Katie โ๐ผ Saw my oncologist yesterday. Latest scans show cancer is โunder controlโ and my condition has improved since May. Starting a week of radiation today to try to relieve persistent back pain. Chemo begins again next week. Hopefully a turnaround on the horizonIn Calgary for a follow-up scan, and want to send some positive thoughts to my buddy @ChrisWesseling. Wess and I fought our cancer battles at the same time a few years ago, and sadly heโs fighting for a second time. Weโre all with you, and hereโs to clear scans from here on out!
