Sports Format VP - Audacy. Pretty much done with X now that it’s been ruined.
- Hard to believe 99.1 HFS flipped formats at noon, 20 years ago today.
- I will never forget this team. This is a beginning, not an end.
- Cutting a former 1st rounder when you’re 5-2 is a whole other level of “sending a message.” It reinforces “you either meet our standards or you do not get to be here.”
- Tress should never buy a beer in the DMV ever again. What a guy.Tress Way truly LOVES this team. Watch as he gets emotional discussing when he first came to Washington and the Conversation with his wife that ultimately led to him giving up the number 5. Never take a teammate like this for granted!
- 15 years ago we launched @1067theFan. Hard to believe. We celebrated a @Capitals Stanley Cup. A @Nationals World Series. We survived a pandemic. The Skins changed their name. 14 years to the day after we launched, Dan Snyder sold the damn team. What a ride. Thank u for listening
- Everyone’s doing their updated list of Commanders coaching prospects so here’s mine: 1. Dan 2. Snyder 3. Sold 4. The 5. Team! 6. It 7. Will 8. Be 9. Ok
- Just thinking about Dan laying his head on his pillow tonight, knowing he failed at owning the Skins, completely, in every way possible. Took the thing he loved and damn near destroyed it. And in a few hours it’s all over and he has to run away to literally another country. Wow.
- Jim Vance was a legend. If you've lived here for decades, you understand. RIP and condolences to his family, friends & NBC4 family
- Josh Harris will not say the word “Commanders.” Can’t say I blame him.
- Joe Gibbs just donated $10kMike Sellers is a great dude and a fan favorite in Washington and needs help. If you’re able, please consider. gofund.me/dccbb2ed
- Today, DC football fans will finally get to wipe the slate clean from the Dan Snyder era. For the 1st time since Jack Kent Cooke’s death in 97, the team has a chance to operate like other teams. Strategic. Compete most years. Win playoff games occasionally. Not be embarrassing.
- We are all absolutely gutted by this news. No one loved sports more than Pete. But what he was most passionate about, and proud of, was his kids. Devastated for them. Will miss you Pete.We are so devastated to share the news that our friend Pete Medhurst has passed away after a battle with cancer. Pete was an incredible broadcaster. Whether on the play by play call for @USNavy sports, the @Nationals, or hosting or anchoring for @1067theFan or @team980, Pete
