I just keep thinking of this image. Why can police see SOME people with guns and not shoot them? But for others, they don't have a gun, "feel threatened" and fire away? And where are the "good apples" speaking out? #AdamToledo

Hi there- senator from the body here. 👋 To be clear, Meagan is not removed. This was theater by the Republicans bc they don’t like that she wouldn’t let them steal the election. They’re attempting a legal strategy to remove her but for now, she’s still in place.

Breaking: Ron Johnson admits he played a role in the insurrection to overturn our democracy. This guy should not be in office and should be held accountable for his actions.

There is buzz in the state capitol that legislative Republicans are waiting for public schools to break for the summer before they seek to break them permanently. They're planning to again underfund them while prioritizing funding for private schools, through vouchers. 🧵 1/

The rich guy from Connecticut is apparently using the FarmVille background to convince Wisconsinites he’s “one of us.”

We just visiting the kiddo's new classrooms. There will be 30 kids in one small room with no air conditioning because the state refuses to fund it. In the meantime, the Brewers have air conditioned suites that taxpayers funded. Our kids deserve better than these scraps.

Wisconsin is one of just 10 states that has still not expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. Doing so would not only provide healthcare for thousands of our neighbors, it would save the state billions. 1/3

Wisconsin is severely paying the price for having Republicans in charge of anything having to do with the pandemic.
Another record number of new positive COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin: 2,892 new cases. 19 more deaths. Wisconsin has surpassed 130,000 positive cases total since March. One month ago there were 77,856 cases.

If you're wondering why Milwaukee can't make their own decisions around some restrictions when the RNC comes to town, it's because the gerrymandered Republican legislature stripped power from local governments across the state, restricting them from exercising local control. 1/4

An interesting (and very dickish) argument @Brewers management keeps making is that Milwaukee is a tiny market and we should feel lucky to even have a team. Lest we forget, Milwaukee backed a championship team in 2021. Don't talk down to us while you're trying to take our cash.

The economy is being steered to another crash by Trump and we need a leader who will work to restructure laws & hold those responsible accountable. @ewarren has done that throughout her career & I have no doubt she will stand firm where others may flinch when the pressure is on.

Tammy Baldwin is the only U.S. Senator we have fighting for Wisconsin. We already have one out-of-touch rich dude who only looks out for himself. We don’t need another one in Hovde.

Who else is excited that the next president of the United States is having her first rally here in Milwaukee today?
