- AMAZING! I have NEVER seen anything like this. This pic is from last Sunday’s storms. Angela Campbell says lightning struck her electric fence in Jasper, Ga. Yesterday, they looked at the footage from their trail camera. They found this image from when the lightning struck.
- Heaven gained an amazing man today. My 91 year old Dad passed away peacefully this morning. Even though he was 91, we were not expecting this today. We are comforted that he is reunited with my Mom and my Sister in heaven.
- He stood by my side as my Best Man on one of the most important days of my life. Today, I will stand over his casket and attempt to express what an impact he had on my life. Any prayers for strength for me around 11am to adequately honor him are welcomed!
- Here’s one way to see if your kids are receiving your texts. I texted Claire at college yesterday at 7:30pm just to check on her. Crickets. I texted her again at 11:21pm another text. I heard from her IMMEDIATELY!

- Glad I switched over from the #Falcons game to @NBCTheVoice just in time to hear "The Old Rugged Cross" from @CWBYall. Better than the game!
- Today is my 27th anniversary at #11Alive! My 1st day was 7/15/91. I’ll never forget walking in to work and being welcomed by TV legends Guy Sharpe and Johnny Beckman. It was my dream job then and remains my dream job today. (This Pic is from 1992 in hurricane Andrew coverage)
- Thank you so much for your prayers and comments for my Dad. Surgery on a 90 year old is always scary. He made it through surgery fine. He had a broken hip, bruised ribs, abrasions and no head injuries after his fall. I’m staying the night tonight with him in the hospital.
- Amazing show of support among competing schools. Members of #UGA’s redcoat band are wearing this ribbon in memory and support of a member of the University of Alabama Color Guard who died this morning from brain cancer.
