Just finished my 29th season reporting on Argyle for Plymouth Live/The Herald. It remains a privilege to report on such a special club.
- One thing I would like to point out. Even towards the end, when I had to ask tough questions of Wayne Rooney, he understood the situation and answered them without any hint of resentment. I totally respect him for that and wish him all the best for the future. #pafc
- Great to see former Argyle players Macaulay Gillesphey, Danny Mayor and Matt Butcher all back at Home Park yesterday and celebrating the vital goal from Joe Edwards. #pafc
- Great to catch up with the ‘Manchester Messi’ Antoni Sarcevic, who has come to see Argyle at the Etihad Stadium after playing for Bradford at nearby Salford City earlier today. #pafc
- Proud to have been the Ernie Wise to Gordon Sparks' Eric Morecambe during our days commentating on Argyle for Radio Devon. We had such laughs together. So many happy memories. My thoughts are with Heather, Kirsty, Holly and all his family at this incredibly sad time. RIP #pafc💚
- Today brings to an end my 28th season reporting on Argyle. It remains a privilege to do so, even after a relegation. Thanks to everyone who has read my work. I truly believe independent media is vital in modern football so your continued support is very much appreciated. #pafc
- Thinking of our mate Sparksy and how excited he would have been right now if he was still with us. #pafc
- What a night that was! That was Argyle united - players, staff and supporters. #pafc

00:00 - So that wraps up my 27th season reporting on Argyle for The Herald/@Plymouth_Live and what a way for it to end - a truly memorable Home Park occasion and Championship safety. It continues to be my pleasure and privilege to cover such a fantastic, unique club as Argyle. #pafc
- Here are two of the biggest reasons why Argyle are back in the Championship after a 13-year absence - Simon and Jane Hallett, whose financial support of the club has enabled it to take tremendous strides since starting the 2019/20 season in League Two. #pafc
- Steven Schumacher has confirmed the recall clauses for Argyle's season-long loan quartet of Finn Azaz, Sam Cosgrove, Nigel Lonwijk and Bali Mumba have expired and they will all be staying with the League One leaders for the rest of the season. #pafc
