That Florida State would sue the ACC, and try to leave, rather than let in SMU, because they thought they were beneath them, only to have SMU beat them 42-16, is the funniest thing I think we’ll see all season

How you screw up QB 1. Kept Ben too long 2. Signed Trubisky 3. Drafted Pickett 4. Started Trubisky 5. Benched Trubisky 6. Started Pickett 7. Benched Pickett 8. Started Rudolph 9. Gave up on Rudolph 10. Signed Wilson 11. Traded Pickett 12. Started Fields 13. Benched Fields

Stanford’s No. 69 offense will go against Pitt’s No. 69 defense.

The Pirates may end up with the best hitter of the modern era, and the best pitcher of the modern era, and couldn’t afford to keep either. That’s why MLB is a joke.

That shot of Crosby, Malkin, and Letang watching the video of themselves on the big screen was really cool

Apparently Franklin has a “duty to mitigate” clause, which means he has to look for another job. And he’d get another good job. Which means the buyout goes from like 49 million to 18, which they’d pay over time. This makes a lot more sense now. 49 million is a lot for anyone.

It drives me crazy when people say it’s close enough that he has to swing at it. He had a great eye, and earned the walk. He shouldn’t be forced to swing at a ball. He did his job. The ump just failed at his.
The picture of the night. The Bases loaded walk that was called a third strike

I’d rather the Steelers pay Fields 15 million than Darnold 40 million

Pittsburgh literally saved the world by making steel in WW2, and now is on the forefront of robotics and AI, which will change the world again, but yeah
It's actually wild to me that people try to compare Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. One city is legitimately important in terms of U.S. history. One city puts French fries in their sandwiches.

What exactly does Tomlin do during a game? Every other coach is out there running around and yelling things, but he always just stands there with a dumbfounded look on his face.
