- 49ers have to feel robbed. This was the best team Kyle Shanahan's had to date, imo.
- Trey Lance is 22. When Josh Allen was 22 he completed 53% of his throws and had more picks than TDs in his first NFL season. When Pat Mahomes was 22 he wasn't even starting. Even the best QBs in the league right now were question marks at that point in their careers.
- Kyle Shanahan passed on Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson in 2017 to sign Kirk Cousins in 2018. He then decided to pay Jimmy Garoppolo, whom he is now trying to replace with 3 first-round picks. Shanahan’s decision making regarding quarterbacks should not be above reproach.
- Kyrie Irving didn’t know Klay Thompson has never made an all defensive team. When he found after today’s game, he responded: “That’s some bullshit."
- 49ers now missing: -both starting tackles -both starting corners -three starting defensive linemen -starting safety -starting running back -starting quarterback -starting linebacker
