- I think we should start planning for a general strike
- Back when I worked with @jeremycorbyn we’d often eat in Finsbury P. He’d try to pay, but locals always wanted to talk community or thank him for his work. Happened so often that we had a system: he’d hand me the cash, and I’d sneak it to the till while he chatted to the owners.While working for the National Union of Tailors & Garment Workers, Jeremy Corbyn was offered a suit for free but turned it down at it could be a ‘conflict of interest’. One, here, has real class (& graced the cover of GQ).
- Today I sat on a stage with many wonderful comrades and listened to Jeremy Corbyn’s voice break when he thanked the crowd for their solidarity and support. The demonisation of this man has been the biggest and most vile assault on a truly decent politician. It ends now.
- At this point in the shitshow, why don’t we just agree to give Socialism a go?
- The thing about working with @jeremycorbyn is that this is him. All day everyday. No show, no bluster just a huge amount of knowledge, empathy and a natural instinct towards justice.Historically informed, erudite and pragmatic from @jeremycorbyn here. The kind of qualities I want in a politician, and a Prime Minister. But in the Westminster rat run they are more likely to make you a lonely outsider.
- I was deeply moved listening to the @jeremycorbyn interview for channel 4 yesterday but I also had a moment of sorrow for who now leads this party and for how afraid they made people feel of socialism. There was never anything to fear here.
