- Yesterday, officers from @DRPSWestDiv responded to a call of a suicidal man on the Brock Rd/401 overpass. Officers spent time understanding what caused the male to arrive at that point. Because he accepted help, a family remains intact today and someone receives care. 1/2
- Surprised? We see people on bail reoffending at alarming rates. Just this week an off-duty member of @DRPS recognize someone he know is on house arrest on gun charges out in a public area. - Yesterday my colleagues & I attended Traffic Services following the murder of PC Andrew Hong. The men & women he worked with, sworn and civilian are hurting. A few words that describe what I witnessed. Pain. Sadness. Pride. Duty. PC Hong is a Hero in Life Not Death
- Tonight officer from @TPS51Div seized this handgun following an investigation into drug trafficking in the Moss Park “encampment “. A male&female face firearm/drug charges. A 2nd male faces drug charges. If you want to engage in this behaviour we will arrest you @TorontoPolice
- Tonight a man was arrested for a carjacking, armed with what we learned was a pellet gun. He was out on 2bails one for Robbery & the other for Robbery &Carjacking. The confidence &frequency people reoffend tells you all you need to know about the state of the bail system. @DRPS
- Tonight first responders & healthcare workers will leave their families to take their turn helping others throughout the Maritime Provinces. They do so knowing their families face the same risk from #Hurricane #Fiona . These brave men and women have my respect.

- Last night Regent Neighbourhood officers following up on information from the community began an investigation. They observed trafficking activity and with drugs come guns. 5 people arrests teens to early 50’s. 2 more guns off the streets @TorontoPolice @TPS51Div @keith_smithtps
- Yesterday our @TPS51Div was flagged over by a citizen reporting that a young female was overdosing in Moss Park. Our officer located the female and administered Naloxone, likely saving her life....This is also something we do in @TorontoPolice
