Paul Bernardo should never ever be released and we should stop having bail hearings that continue to victimize the families of his victims and many others. Even now he is said to be a high risk to reoffend. He should be in custody until he dies. Full stop.

- To our amazing Halton citizens. We are all going through a horrific year of COVID-19 and all associated with it together. The HRPS will NOT be randomly stopping vehicles for no reason during the pandemic or afterwards (RIDE being an exception). @GaryCarrHalton @CouncillorKnoll
- Let’s be clear “Guns kill people” and criminals use illegal handguns #illegalfirearms In Ontario 85-90% of handguns used in serious crimes are traced to the USA.Let’s do something about that. And let’s put in place stronger laws around using firearms in criminal offences
- Ohhhh Mr Singh @theJagmeetSingh @NDP really? A situation safely resolved and you choose to somehow make it an issue about racism? I suppose you openly believe the accused should have been killed by the Rcmp then.Politics at an all time low
- Sentencing delayed for Toronto man in $36M drug trafficking operation as he waits to become 1st-time dad.I had to read this a few times. And I am still shaking my head at this one. And the mother to be also plead guilty to lesser charges.Great deterrent!!
- Replying to @ChiefTannerThe Rcmp did exactly what people should demand and expect “Deescalate and arrest”. I am very dissappointed in your comment(which won’t ever matter)@CPC_HQ @liberal_party @TorontoStar @TheTorontoSun @cbchh @wendygillis @joe_warmington @susanclairmont @PoliceAssocON @OACPOfficial
- “Murder”is murder. If you take an illegal firearm into a public place and kill someone and wound others the penalty should be severe. A chance for parole in just over a year? RIDICULOUS @fordnation @SylviaJonesMPP @ONAttorneyGen #godhelpus #justice @joe_warmington @wendygillis
- Replying to @ChiefTannerWhen violent offenders commit violent crimes they should receive longer sentences and be kept in custody longer.not bail!Violent criminals should not be released early and then people or governments wonder what Happened when more are victimized. #letsgetthisright #letsdobetter.
- Replying to @ChiefTannerWe need to have stronger laws. Increased offences and stricter restrictions on bail when firearms are used. We have far too many victims who deserve much better and future victims who I would rather prevent from being harmed @HaltonPolice @HPBoard @HRPA_President @joe_warmington
- On behalf of the entire HRPS and the citizens of Halton our most sincere condolences to the victims in Nova Scotia and to @RCMPNS following their tragic loss. Our thoughts and support are with you
- Replying to @ChiefTannerI remember the investigation and the French and mahaffy families. Let us Remember the innocent young victims. Not Bernardo - One good example of a reason for the death penalty. @JustinTrudeau @PierrePoilievre @douglasdowney @viraniarif @MPPKerzner @fordnation
- Let us all remember that our front line police officers and members are there on a daily basis, through Covid-19 and the worst imaginable incidents. And they serve with honour, dedication and commitment as they save lives and keep people safe Thank you for your service to all
- Replying to @ChiefTannerIt just may be time that our court system takes into account the many victims, their families, the economic cost of organized crime and drug importation and made all of those things priorities over giving someone consideration for pleading, guilty and saving court time
- The @haltonpolice has always, and will always work closely and in cooperation with our citizens.During this next COVID-19 phase we will continue to engage, explain and educate our citizens.Enforcement will be a last resort and only when absolutely required for public safety.
