- Anambra folks - I hope you like potatoes because Plateau is about send truckloads. My people voted for your statesman in some crazy numbers and are now facing boycott threats 😂. While you are at it, we have strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower. You name it, we got it!
- I really hate that many Nigerian artisans settle for mediocre work. That little gap between tiles… That weird placement of a socket… The weirdly angled light fixture… They may seem like little things but speaks to a lack of focus on excellence or pride in one’s work
- I was today year’s old when I learned that “you look so take away” is a compliment in Nigeria. I’m afraid to ask the meaning/rationale behind the phrase 🤣😅
- I don’t think we have fully grasped the level of trauma Nigerians are subjected to on a daily basis as a result of terrorism. The incessant barrage of terrorist attacks don’t even leave one enough time to process before the next cycle of violence commences. #Ondo
- Don’t believe people when they tell you that you are one thing. You can live many lives in your lifetime. And you should. It’s a privilege. Seize it. This was my “corporate life”. I was bloody good at it. And although I look back at it fondly, I’m in a different place now.
