- I'm deeply honoured to be Chelsea and Fulham's MP and hugely grateful to all who put trust in me. To those who lent me their vote or those who didn't vote for me, I promise I will be an MP on the side of all residents. I can't wait to get on with the job I've been hired to do.
- Very disappointed that govt is sacrificing UK health on the altar of Brexit by not joining EU consortium to drive lower vaccine prices. How can UK, with 66m people, expect to get a better deal than EU, with purchasing power of 27 countries & 447m people?
- David is a former Conservative party branch chair in Fulham. He's just resigned his 40-year membership to support me on the campaign trail. Thank you, David, for believing that Labour can deliver change. If elected as MP for Chelsea & Fulham, I'll be on the side of all residents.
- "Let me recall that the UK is leaving 600 international agreements. We have to rebuild everything in our common interest," said top EU negotiator Michel Barnier today. That's two a day (including most weekends) for the UK to renegotiate by year end. Not worrying at all.
- It was a huge honour to be sworn in formally today to represent the people of Chelsea and Fulham as their MP. The State Opening of Parliament is next Wednesday and then it's on with the job of renewing our country.
